Something exciting is happening in the world of wine, and we were lucky enough to be part of it.

Last week, our Founder and CEO Ange Chappel joined a panel at Treasury Wine Estates’ Melbourne HQ to celebrate the launch of their brand-new Mid, Low & No alcohol wine range.

This wasn’t just a launch. It was a big step forward for the entire category.

Wine, Reimagined

TWE has been developing a world-first, patent-pending technology that gently removes alcohol from wine, while preserving its natural aroma and essence. The result? Wines that are lower in alcohol (or alcohol-free) but still taste like the real deal.

It’s no secret that flavour has been a sticking point in the NoLo wine space, and this new approach is set to change that.

A Movement, Not a Moment

The panel brought together a mix of voices from across wellness, innovation, and the drinks industry. And the message was clear: this isn’t a passing fad.

Ange shared what we see so often inside the Mind The Sip community:

  • People want to drink less without feeling like they’re missing out
  • They want adult alternatives that actually taste good
  • And they want better, more inclusive options at social events, dinners, and mid-week catch-ups
  • Mid-strength and alcohol-free wines that actually taste like wine are key to supporting this shift.

The Future of Wine Is Inclusive

Mindful drinking isn’t one-size-fits-all. Some of our community members are going alcohol-free, while others are cutting back, blending, or simply looking for a break between drinks.

This new wave of NoLo wine gives people more ways to feel included, without needing to compromise on taste or experience.

We’re so excited to watch this category grow, and even more excited to support it.
